FIREFOX 3.6, 4 - 11

Firefox 4 to 11 are supported and highly recommended. 3.6 is supported.

CHROME 8-16

Chrome 8 to 16 are supported and highly recommended. Other WebKit browsers (e.g. Safari or Konqueror) may have a similar experience to Google Chrome.

OPERA 10, 11

Opera is partially supported. However, the following features are unavailable in Opera due to Opera's lack of support needed to implement these features:
  • Does not support dragging and dropping files into editor.

INTERNET EXPLORER 9

Internet Explorer 9 is supported. However, the following features are unavailable in IE due to IE's lack of support needed to implement these features:
  • Does not support dragging and dropping files into editor.

Partially Supported Browsers

INTERNET EXPLORER 8

IE8 is functional, although we highly recommend using a more modern browser, especially for editing content. Lite courses should not have any problems when viewed in IE8, but rich courses will have problems.
Additional Requirements
  • Security Settings on Medium-Low
Why do we only partially support IE8?
  • Does not support content-rich elements of HTML5 and related APIs, thus it will never be able to support our content-rich courses.
  • Poor support for web standards.
  • Very poor content editing functionality.

Internet Explorer 7

Additional Requirements
  • Security Settings on Medium-Low
IE7 is functional, although we highly recommend using a more modern browser, especially for editing content. Lite courses should not have any problems when viewed in IE7, but rich courses will have problems.
Why do we only partially support IE7?
  • Does not support content-rich elements of HTML5 and related APIs, thus it will never be able to support our content-rich courses.
  • Very poor support for web standards.
  • Very poor content editing functionality.

Unsupported browsers

INTERNET EXPLORER 6

Why do we not support IE6?
  • IE6 support is dropping across the web.
  • Does not support content-rich elements of HTML5 and related APIs, thus it will never be able to support our content-rich courses.
  • Very poor support for web standards.
  • Very poor content editing functionality.
  • Would require much more development resources to support and would greatly slow the development of new features.
